💫 Religious class
Written by: Muhammad Malik

Why is our response to any unusual event so strange?

Instead of raising our voice against oppression and oppressors, why do we embrace the whole class? Cruelty is wrong, it is our moral and social duty to raise voice against whoever does it, but is it right to show our hatred and prejudice under its guise?
Many recent incidents have come to the fore in which misbehavior, sexual abuse, violence and many other things have happened, and some of them were in Madrasahs, but the majority involved people belonging to schools, universities, hospitals and other worldly classes and in these places. There were incidents. The violence of peers in school, the incident of the motorway, the case of Zainab and many other examples. But do you know that when the voice was raised against these atrocities, the reaction of the majority was different against Madrasahs and different on the other side. If a doctor or a teacher commits a heinous act, it was once said that all hospitals or schools should be closed. What is the benefit of them? Yes, but if any incidents of madrasas come to light, objections start that madrasas should be closed, what is the benefit of them except extremism and abuse of innocent children? I want to know the reason for this contradiction??? Why is the teaching of Quran and Hadith so shocking in the eyes of you people? Most of the universities (I won't even call it complete because there are good and bad people everywhere) have become the base of prostitution. The idea of closing them never came to the minds of these liberals…
